As we welcome in the new year, we reflect on all the wonderful news that we had to share in 2023. To start, guests were able to take advantage of new e-bikes available at Lewa Safari Camp and Kifaru House, allowing them to take exhilarating rides through the African bush. The Manor Ngorongoro introduced new farm to table dining as part of the guest experience, as well as new Appaloosa horses for guests to ride and explore the gorgeous, lush gardens, coffee bush plantations and hills that surround the property. Tortilis Camp Amboseli began nightly game drives, making the safari experience even more adventurous.
The last year also included a significant number of awards, including six Conde Nast Traveler 2023 Readers’ Choice Awards with top accolades in the 50 Best Resorts. Elsa’s Kopje Meru secured the #7 spot in the “50 Best Resorts” overall global list as well as the #1 in Top Resorts in Central & Eastern Africa. Arusha Coffee Lodge won the #13 spot in the “50 Best Resorts” overall global list and #3 in Top 15 Resorts in Central & Eastern Africa, while Elephant Pepper Camp Masai Mara, ranked #29 in in the “50 Best Resorts” overall global list and #4 in the Top 15 Resorts in Central & Eastern Africa.
Serengeti Migration Camp was also honoured with top accolades in the 2023 Travel+Leisure World’s Best Awards. The beloved camp won the #19 spot amongst the Top 100 Hotels in the World and received the #3 spot amongst the Top 10 Best Africa Safari Lodges.
