Traders Walk at Arusha Coffee Lodge

Traders Walk at Arusha Coffee Lodge is an African experience centre where some of the best of Tanzania’s ingenuity and creativity is showcased in five retail and gourmet food outlets.

Kahawa - meaning ‘coffee' in Swahili - is the Tradewalk’s coffee shop - selling freshly ground coffee either 'to go' or served on Kahawa's shaded terrace.

With freshly baked cakes and pastries to compliment your choice of beverage, Kahawa is the address to visit for that home-grown coffee experience.

Soko - meaning ‘market’ in Swahili - is the Tradewalk’s gift shop.

From safari clothing to those all-important keepsakes, and from sparkling jewellery to locally-made crafts, Soko provides an opportunity to take home that gift that will remind you of those very special African memories.

Tanzanite Experience specialises in authentic, ethically-mined Tanzanite gemstones and jewellery. Guaranteed is peace of mind and and value for money of this stunningly beautiful and rare gem stone.

Jikoni - meaning ‘kitchen' in Swahili - is the authentic African kitchen of Tradewalk.

Sample traditional African cuisine in this open-to-air restaurant. With locally grown produce combined with delicious herbs and spices, your palate will be sated as you learn a new, unique and delectable style of cooking.

Shanga, meaning ‘bead' in Swahili, is a heartwarming project dedicated to supporting and empowering community members with disabilities.

Abiding by a commitment to environmentally sustainable business practices, Shanga comprises of a bustling workshop that creates works of art often from recycled goods, and a trendy boutique. Shanga has grown exponentially from what started as one beaded necklace and a desire to help those in need.
